Jose Aleman, or German, as he was known by those who knew him, age 71, left to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones at his residence in Alamo. Jose was born on November 22, 1952 in Weslaco, Texas to Andres Aleman and Maria del Pilar Quintanilla. Mr. Aleman graduated class of 1973 from Weslaco High School. Jose enjoyed spending his free time fishing, hunting and camping. Amongst his love for the outdoors, he also loved to dance.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Tomasita "Tammy" Aleman and their children, Amanda and Adam Aleman. He will also be greatly missed by his siblings: Dolores A. Gonzales of Lansing, Michigan, Guadalupe A. Flores of Donna, Texas, Alicia A. Gomez of Weslaco, Texas, Alex Carmona of Donna, Texas, Maria Elida White of Seneca, South Carolina and Leon Aleman of Donna, Texas.
He has now reunited his beloved parents and brothers: Juan Aleman, Rene Rosales and Candelario Aleman; who have preceded him in death.
Family will receive friends Friday, December 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
