Israel Gonzalez, age 41, of Edcouch, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Israel was born July 8, 1980 to Yolanda Gonzalez and Samuel Gonzalez.

Israel is survived by his son Elijah Gonzalez and his daughter Nelda Jasabel Gonzalez; his mother Yolanda Gonzalez; his sisters Nidia Gonzalez, Nelda Gonzalez and Samantha Gonzalez and his brother Freddy Trevino III; his nieces Stephanie, Felicity, Linzy, Natalya, Thalia, and Rihanna and his nephews Dajuan, JayShawn, Anthony, Jaylan, Jace and Grayson.

Israel was preceded in death by his father Samuel Gonzalez.

A visitation for Israel will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX 78596. An inurnment will occur Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78596.
