Isabel Marie Ybarra

Isabel M. Ybarra affectionately known by her friends and loved ones as "Chavela". Lived a full and happy life. She loved dancing and travelling with her husband Arnold (Vito). She dedicated her work life to helping spanish speaking students to learn English at Weslaco ISD. She was a giving person who will always be remembered by her family for the surprising gifts she would give during Christmas and birthdays. She was loved and will be missed.

She survived by her children; Arnold Ybarra Jr (Rosie Ybarra), Robert Ybarra (Matilda Ybarra), Charlie Ybarra (Jennifer Ybarra), Chrystal Carlos (Michael Carlos), her grandchildren Andrew Ybarra, Jenica Beavers, Michaela Ybarra, Robert E. Ybarra, Jacob Ybarra, Noah Ybarra, Owen Ybarra, Aden Ybarra, Justin Carlos, Alayna Carlos, her siblings; Salvador Lara, Alfredo Lara, Ruben Lara, Nancy Ramirez-Velarde, Noe Lara, Rene Lara.

Isabel M. Ybarra is preceded in death by her husband Arnoldo Ybarra Sr, her parents Leopoldo Lara, Senaida Lara and her brother Juan Lara.

A visitation for Isabel will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A rosary will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM. A burial will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
