Herminia Mines Herrera

Herminia is survived by her children, Antonio Herrera (Maria Guadalupe), Adela Herrera Saldaña (Juan Jose Saldaña†), Marina Herrera Cantu, Paula Herrera Garcia (Juan), her grandchildren: Ricardo Longoria; Andres Garcia (Blanca Josefina); Eric Garcia (Heather Ann); Antonio Herrera, Jr.(Zoraida); Amado Herrera II; Juan Jose Saldaña, Jr.(Jackie Guerra); Ruby Ann Saldaña; Kihra Cantu Agado (Jesse); Amanda Herrera Esparza (Abel) and Richard Cantu; and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Joaquin, Juan, Marcos and David Minez and her sisters Maria Eloisa Minez and Maria Guadalupe Mines Lopez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Herminia is preceded in death by her husband Amado Herrera, twin sons and twin daughters, parents Juan and Eloisa Mines, brothers Javier, Dionicio and Valente Minez, sisters, Maria Concepcion, Hortencia and Gloria Minez.

Serving as pallbearers are Andres Garcia, Ricardo Longoria, Juan Jose (JJ) Saldaña, Jr.; Antonio Herrera, Jr.; Amado Herrera, II; and Gabriel Isaiah Saldaña. Honorary pallbearers are Sandy Lee Esparza and Andres Jesus Garcia.

A visitation for Herminia will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599. A chapel service will occur Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM, followed by the burial at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78599.
