Guadalupe Villarreal, 99, left to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at his residence in Progreso. Guadalupe was born on February 27, 1926 to Federico Villarreal & Paula Montemayor in Cuero, Texas. He was a mechanic and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed exercising and collecting tools. Guadalupe served his communities as a Sheriff and undercover cop in Corpus Christi. Guadalupe was a man of faith and attended EWC in Weslaco. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Maria Elena Villarreal Castro, Jose M. Villarreal, Raul M. Villarreal, Maria Belinda Villarreal, Maria San Juanita Goll, Maria Crystela Belcher and Isaac M Villarreal. He will also be greatly missed by his 20 grandchildren. As per Mr. Villarreal's wishes, cremation will be taking place privately at Heavenly Grace Crematory in La Feria. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco.
