Gregorio Hinojosa

WESLACO - At the age of 100, Gregorio Hinojosa, went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 31, 2022. Gregorio was born on November 28, 1921 to Vicente and Eusebia Hinojosa in Cadereyta, Nuevo leon, Mexico.

Gregorio is survived by his children, Jose M. Hinojosa (Irma), Jose Hinojosa (Sandra), Roberto Hinojosa (Luz), Gregorio Hinojosa Jr. (Estela), Martin Hinojosa (Cely), Maria de Pilar De Leon (Juventino†), Lina Cisneros (Roberto), Eusebia Medina (Hector†), Graciela Magdaleno, Ma. Magdalena Mendoza (Ezequiel) and Ma. Leticia Bautista (Jose Antonio).

Gregorio is preceded in death by his loving wife, Elidia Hinojosa and his parents Vicente and Eusebia Hinojosa.

"Don Goyo" as everyone knew him was a loving husband, father, grandpa, uncle and friend. He loved watching baseball, and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandkids. You could always count on a good joke and good stories with him. He was always able to fix things around the house, always looked forward going to Sunday church with his wife. "Don Goyo" was loved by many, and will forever live in our hearts.

A visitation for Mr. Hinojosa will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 and Friday, November 4, 2022 both days from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary both days at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc, followed by the burial at Val Verde Memorial Gardens, Donna, Texas.
