Eusebio Gonzalez was a tractor operator and a custodian at the Rio Grande Valley Sugar Growers before his retirement. He enjoyed working his land, plowing his own fields, and growing his own vegetables. His favorite time was spent outdoors and on the dance floor, dancing to his favorite music: huapangos, polkas, and cumbias.
Mr. Eusebio Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents Mateo & Petra Gonzalez, his sister Guadalupe Cavazos, and his brother Modesto Gonzalez.
He is survived by his sister Eva Cavazos and his brother Adan Gonzalez. He leaves behind the many family members who loved and admired him: his loving wife of 58 years, Josefina Gonzalez, and his four children, Rolando Gonzalez (Sonia), Esmeralda Vasquez (Bernabe Sr.), Renato Gonzalez (Linda), and Raul Gonzalez (Alyssa). He has ten grandchildren: Raul Gonzalez, Jr. Alyssa Gonzalez, Bianca Vasquez, Iliana Vasquez, Bernabe Vasquez, Jr., Orlando Gonzalez, Laryssa Gonzalez, Anika Gonzalez, Delina Gonzalez, Julian Gonzalez, Sidney King, and Zachary King. He has three great-grandchildren: Malaina Jae Mungia, Luna Gonzalez, and Milo Adan Gonzalez.
His family wishes to share with everyone who knew him or had the pleasure of meeting him for even a brief moment that he was a hard-working man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life- his family, time outdoors, and family barbecues. He will forever be remembered for the times he enjoyed dancing to his favorite music with his beloved wife, daughter, and granddaughters. To our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle: we miss you, we love you very much, and we know you will be dancing away in your forever home in Heaven.
