She was a loving mother, caring grandmother and a great friend. She loved her garden, taking care of her family and always found time to help others. Faith, family and her home were all passions of Mrs. Garcia. Widowed at a young age, she was tasked with raising her children and had to face it all alone. She took her hardship and turned it into her driving force to push her children further in life. She succeeded. She simply dreamed of a better future for her children and grandchildren.
Ester can be summed up in one word: Love.
Mrs. Garcia is joining her husband Monico Garcia (+ 1977). She is survived by her four children; Catalina Garcia-Silva (Marcos Silva), Gerardo Garcia (Josefina Vargas-Garcia), Enrique Garcia and Mirella Monica Garcia-Hinojosa (Arturo Hinojosa, Jr.). She has 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Esther will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A rosary will occur Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will occur Friday, October 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM. A burial will occur Friday, October 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
