Estela Velazquez, age 68, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Thursday February 28, 2019. Estela was born November 25, 1950 in Weslaco, TX to Abrana Medrano and Melquiades Martinez.

Estela is survived by her husband, Jorge Manuel Velasquez; son George Manuel Velazquez Jr; son Marco Antonio Velazquez; and son Jose Luis Velazquez; brother Mingo Martinez, brother Rene Martinez, brother Jesse Martinez, brother Andy Martinez and sister Maggie Gentil Martinez; grandchild Hailey Velazquez, grandchild Cali Velazquez and grandchild Maddox Velazquez.

Estela was preceded in death by; mother Abrana Medrano and father Melquiades Martinez.

Visitation Services for Estela will be held Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home (6705 N FM 88 Weslaco,Texas 78596) with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass will be held in Honor of Estela on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Weslaco, TX followed with the Interment at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco,Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Jose Velazquez, Marco Velazquez, George Velazquez, Jaime Martinez and Justin Hernandez.
