Delma "Gramae" Mae Lozano, age 70, left to be with the Lord on Monday, December 18, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Mercedes. Delma was born on March 18, 1953 to Bertha and Pablo Sarmiento in Mercedes, Texas. Delma Mae was a 1970 graduate from Mercedes High School and retired from Mercedes Independent School District. Mae as she was known by many loved to sew, cook and bake. Gramae was especially passionate about her family as she was always there for anyone who needed her. She is now reunited with her parents Bertha & Ignacio Pena, her beloved husband, Fernando Lozano Sr and brother: Javier Rodolfo Davila who have preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her loving sons: Fernando (Sara) Lozano Jr and Rolando Lozano. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Christian Omar Lucio, Isaac & Isaiah Lucio, Dwayne Lozano, Fernando Lozano III, Augustin "Auggie" Lozano and siblings: Jaime Omar Sarmiento and Priscilla Pena.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 9 am to 10 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral service will be celebrated at 10 am, Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
