Delia Trevino Martinez

Mrs. Martinez was born July 28, 1944 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, daughter of Fidel Trevino and Sara Mendiola Trevino. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Maria Guadalupe Trevino and Maria del Carmen Trevino.

Left to cherish her memories is her beloved husband, Pedro Martinez Jr., her cherished children, Norma Delia Martinez (Nick Blackwell), Sonia Campos (Benito Jr.), Pete Martinez III (Rebecca A.), her loving sisters, Guillermina and Adelaida Trevino. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Ricky C. Campos, Alyssa V. Campos, Joshua Martinez, Julie Martinez, Magen Rodriguez, Michael Gomez and Zach Gomez.

Mrs. Martinez was a very faithful and God loving woman, proudly receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion and Holy Matrimony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Continuing her service to God she was a faithful Eucharist Minister at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. She was very proud to be Godmother of 51 children during her lifetime. The center of her world was her husband, her children and grandchildren, whom she was very proud of. She will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation for Mrs. Delia Trevino Martinez will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 North FM 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM, followed by the burial at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
