Alice Dorothy Magee

She was born in Schulenburg, TX to Charles & Mary Krause on January 1, 1935. Alice was a friend and confidant to all who were blessed to have her in their life. She was headstrong and yet kind, compassionate and supportive to all that came to know her. She always placed others before herself. You could always count on her for words of wisdom, comfort and a mother’s love, whether you were her child or not. She will be remembered by many and deeply missed.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents Charles & Mary Krause, her husband Bill Magee, her son Clifford Talbert, siblings Charles Krause, Jr., Caroline Campbell, Irene Kochart, Mary A. Biggs and Margaret Ann Krause.

Alice is survived by her siblings Virgina Schwarz, Leona Lowe, Jo Ann Grobe, Frances Ulmer, Frank Krause, Raymond Krause and Robert Krause. Her sons Van Talbert, Jr., Larry Talbert & Jeffrey Talbert. Her Stepchildren Mark Magee, Mitch Magee & Melissa Magee Douglas. Over 30 grandchildren and more than 40 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Alice will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A chapel service will occur Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM. The burial at Highland Memorial Park will occur Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
