He was a man best known for loving God, his family, and his country. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Guadalupe (Lupita) Collins, his children: Lloyd Patrick Collins (son), Michelle Odette Collins (daughter), Albert Allen Collins Jr. (son), Selena Starlette Collins (daughter).
He was born to be a man and destined to die a soldier. His famous saying was "family first". -Dad. We Salute You and We Love You. You will forever be our rock that taught us the true meaning of family.
Visitation Services for Albert will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home (6705 N FM 88 Weslaco, TX) with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, TX followed with the Interment at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Lloyd Patrick Collins, Albert Allen Collins Jr., Timothy Leigh Collins, Kaidn Seth Collins-Gonzales, Sheldon Jude Collins-Gonzales and Patrick Allen Collins.
All Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home in Weslaco, Texas.
