Aida Sandoval, age 52, of Alamo, Texas left to be with the Lord on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Solara Hospital in McAllen. She was born on November 02, 1970. Aida enjoyed watching horror movies and collecting Superhero paraphernalia. She was a member of the Edcouch-Elsa High School marching band and graduated in 1989. Aida later attended STC McAllen where she earned her Health Information Management degree in 2015. Her favorite band was Duran Duran and The Lost Boys was her favorite movie. Aida loved attending Renaissance Festivals and caring for her beloved fur babies: Bebe, Casper, Fiona, Lucy and Hero. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Leonel (Veronica) Sandoval Jr, Yvette (Adolfo) Trevino and Jessica Sandoval. She will also be greatly missed by mother Adela Sandoval, her nieces and nephews: Elysha Sandoval, Jennifer (Max) Perez, Cassandra Trevino, Roman Layton, Gabriel Layton, Brendon Sandoval, Abram Trevino and grandnephew: Logan Perez. Aida is now reunited with her father Leonel Sandoval Sr.; grandparents Manuela Hidalgo, Juanita & Victor Sandoval; sister Lillian Sandoval, aunts Oralia Marez and Maria Garcia and her uncle, Victor Sandoval Jr. who have preceded her in death. Family will receive friends Thursday, September 14, 2023 starting at 1 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 15, 2023 at 10 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
