Terri Jo Romero

Terri Jo Romero, 52, of Welsh, LA. passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at her residence. Terri was born to her late parents, Wilbert Wade Lormand and Barbara Sliman Quirk on March 16, 1970 in Kinder, LA. She was a graduate of Welsh High School and McNeese State University. She managed Welsh Accounting where she retired in 2004, and then came home to take care of her family. Terri enjoyed drawing, fishing and golfing with her husband, gardening, fixing odds and ends, playing with her cats, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved very much; even more than her own kids.

She is survived by her loving husband, Shane Romero; son, Kade Romero (Lakin) of Westlake; daughter, Kayli Romero (Mark Daigle) of Creole; grandchildren, Sawyer Daigle, Sadie Daigle, Thomas Romero of Creole, LA; mother and father-in-law, Felix and Kay Romero of Kinder, LA; four sisters, Jonette Louviere (Brian) of Roanoke, LA; Paula LeJeune (Clifton) of Jennings, LA; Trudy McKenzie of Welsh, LA; Laura Guinn (Thomas) of Jennings, LA; five nephews, four nieces, four great nephews, and four great nieces.

A Celebration of Terri's life will be held at Jesus Worship Center in Jennings, LA. on June 1, 2022 at

11:00 am, with Pastor Clifton J. LeJeune officiating. Visitation will be at Jennings Worship Center on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh.
