Shane James Ardoin

Shane attended Crowley High School and graduated from Lacassine High School. He loved to ride motorcycles, fishing, hunting, and host gatherings of his family and friends. He was a very good listener and loved to make people laugh.

Shane was an organ donor and will live on in the people who’s life he saved or benefited from his organ donations.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Joseph Ardoin, Sr., paternal grandparents, Webster and Lorena Ardoin, maternal grandfather, Danes Paul Abshire, and Godmother, Janet Faye Abshire Manuel.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Emily Ardoin and her mother and uncle, Stephanie Guillory Ardoin and Randy Guillory; Shane's fiancé, Brandy Luker, her two children, Ashley Compton and Preston Morgan, and grandson, Michael; his mother, Donna Kay Sarver and husband, Woodrow of Crowley; sister, Sharon Tacker and husband, Mike of Arnaudville, La; sister, Kimberly Romine and fiancé, Donald Dietz of Kaplan; sister, Amelia Sarver and fiancé, Stephen Broussard of Crowley; sister, Tanya Breaux and husband, Chuck of Gueydan; sister, Deena Bertrand of Lake Charles; brothers, Daniel Ardoin, Jr. of Dequincy; brother, Kirk Ardoin and wife, Sherie of Deweyville; brother, Shannon Sarver and fiance', Peigen Drummond of Carencro; maternal grandmother, Etheleen Marie Guillot Abshire of Kaplan; and Godfather, Amos "Jimmy" Manuel III of Iowa; special friends, Clady "Big Toe" Breaux and Chris Hammersky; and numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh. Rev. Rojo A. Palatty Koonathan, HGN will officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume 8 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
