Pierre J. Galley

He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, K of C, Grand Knight, Police Juror, graduate of Bell City, attended USL and loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards on Wednesday nights with all his buddies and gardening. He was the owner of Pierre's Seafood in Lacassine.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Granger Galley, children, Sharon Meyer and husband Steve of Iowa; Trena Miller and husband Victor of Iowa; Timothy Galley and wife Donna of San Antonio; Tina Ackel and husband Keith of Lacassine; Tana Broussard and husband Sherman of Lacassine; grandchildren, Jamie Cormier, Jarrod Cormier, Jennifer Cormier Levy, Ryan Miller, Brittany Miller Self, Christopher Galley, Grant Galley, Collin Galley, Lauren Galley, Jason Janssen, Jake Broussard and Blake Broussard; step grandchildren, Tara Meyer, Gisele Weber, great grandchildren, Brooklyn Levy, Courtney and Conner Cormier, Gage Cormier, Abigail Janssen, Bryson Janssen, Abram and Andi Miller, Gabrielle, Eli and Sophia Self, Owen and Avery Galley, step great grandchildren, Micah Mcgee, Gentry Hebert, Karli Hebert, Raegan Meyer, Gaven Weber and Jasmine Weber. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Anaise Galley, brother, Bufford Galley.

Pallbearers are Collin Galley, Jamie Cormier, Jarrod Cormier, Christopher Galley, Ryan Miller, Jason Janssen, Grant Galley, John Self, Honorary pallbearers and Alter Servers are Jake and Blake Broussard.

His service will be Saturday, June 16, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church. Father Roland Vaughn will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and resume Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh.
