Her family was the center of her world, she adored cooking delicious meals and treasured her time joking around with the grandbabies. Peggy enjoyed going to the Casino and playing the Life of Luxury slot machine. She was a very giving woman and made sure that those that were in need were cared for. Peggy welcomed everyone with a warm cup of coffee, fixed just the way you liked it.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Belinda Camel and husband Maurice, Jeanne Soileau and husband Tony; sons, Tim Calloway and wife Melissa, and Quentin Calloway and wife Debbie; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Louviere, and Audrey Louviere; as well as countless "adopted" children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her adoring husband of 64 years, Henry "Sonny" (Pop) Calloway; son, Darrel "Sect" Calloway; great-granddaughter, Catherine Calloway; brothers, A. W., George Jr., Bobby, and Jimmy Louviere; and her parents, George and Iris Louviere.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heart of Hospice and private care givers for their special care of Mrs. Peggy.
