Paula was a fun loving, big-hearted person and she enjoyed life to the fullest. Becoming a mother was her greatest blessing. She enjoyed working for the past 30 years with all of her Wal-Mart family. Paula loved spending time with her parents, children and sisters and she had a passion for traveling on cruises and to other exciting destinations. She enjoyed spending quality time with her fiance, Shane. Paula will always be remembered for her big beautiful smile.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Hunter Dasch and Emily Crader and husband Dylan; parents, Wayne Matte and Florence Matte; sisters, Polly Hubbard and husband Bruce and Bridget Moreau and husband Shannon; nieces, Carlie, Allie, and Mollie Moreau; and fiance, Shane Savoie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Baumery.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Friday, December 20, 2024; beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. until the procession leaves for the church at 9:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Bon Pasture Cemetery.
