Jeffrey was born on August 20,1964 at Sheppard Air Force Base Hospital
near Wichita Falls, Texas, to Sgt. Curtis Martin Hebert Sr. and Mary Lee Bednorz Hebert. Being raised in a military family, Jeffrey made frequent moves, living in several states before ending up in Welsh, Louisiana after his father retired from the Air Force in 1971. He moved to Lacassine in 2023 but still considered Welsh to be his home.
Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Mary Hebert, two brothers, Curtis Hebert Jr. (Cheryl) of LaPorte, Texas, and Robert Hebert (Debra) of Welsh, Louisiana, and three sisters. They are Dianne Hebert of Welsh, Jennifer Leger (Keith), of St. George, Louisiana, and Donna Galley (Tim), of San Antonio, Texas. He was also survived by ten nephews, six nieces, and sixteen great nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey was well known for his sense of humor. He especially loved puns
and playing jokes. He also had a loving, generous spirit. He enjoyed giving gifts much more than receiving them.
Services for Jeffrey will be held on Wednesday, April 23, at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh. The Catholic Daughters will lead a Rosary for Jeffrey at 2:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 3:00. Father Rojo Koonathan will be the Celebrant.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Hebert, Sr. and his
great niece, Hana Bridgette Saicharoen.
