Bryan Wade McClelland

He was born on May 13, 1999 in Lake Charles. Bryan absolutely enjoyed fried chicken and chocolate, especially Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and loved the Christmas Holidays. He had fun joking with people and loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Tammy McClelland and Papa Anthony Benoit of Iowa; two brothers, Tim McClelland of Iowa, Logan Pate of Shawnee, Oklahoma; grandparents, Nolan and Nelda Abshire of Iowa, Joseph McClelland of Lake Charles; aunts, Christina McClelland of Lake Charles, Jennifer Rhorer of Fenton; aunt and uncle, Roland and Sarah Abshire of Iowa; and Destiny Gaspard of Cameron.

Bryan is preceded in death by his father, Matthew McClelland; sister, Rebecca Fuselier; paternal grandmother, Glenda McClelland; along with his godmother, Dori Taylor.

Services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 1:00pm, with Deacon Roy Nash officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Rosary at 6:30pm led by the Catholic Daughters. Visitation will resume on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Broussard Cemetery in Lacassine.
