Susan Catherine Turcotte (Ford), age 80, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side, Sunday May 7th in Wellfleet Massachusetts. Daughter of the late Catherine and Raymond Ford, Susan was born and raised in Springfield, Ma. It was there at Susans next door neighbors house where she would meet her husband Wilfred "Willie" Turcotte. They Married April 28, 1962. They moved to Poughkeepsie, New York to raise their family. Susan remained a house wife until she took a job driving a school bus for the local school system. Sue and Willie had vacationed many times on Cape Cod and fell in love. They then decided to move to Cape Cod. On December 28th, 1978 together, they started their business at Home Port Cottages in North Truro where they worked and lived for many years. They enjoyed pig roasts and spending time with their grandchildren in their beautiful front yard. In her spare time Susan enjoyed crafting, specifically, wreath making, water colors, and participating in local craft shows. Later in life Susan and her husband enjoyed spending time in Booth Bay and Old Orchard Maine. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Willie Turcotte of Wellfleet, daughter Teresa Turcotte of Waldoboro Maine, grandchildren Katie and Michelle Silva both of Truro, and her life long friend Jackie Perry Mastrianna of Brewster. She is predeceased by her son Christopher "Turk" Turcotte. The family would like to express our thanks to Beacon Hospice. If desired memorial contributions can be made in Susan's name to them.
