Tommy Thompson

Tommy Thompson, age 76, of Friendswood, Texas passed away February 20, 2019. He was born in Houston, Texas on January 13, 1943 to George and Stella Thompson. He was married to Mary Jo Thompson for 45 years.

Tommy had a career in computer programs working for IBM and Celanese. He had a passion for woodworking and delighted in spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby; and brother, George.

Tommy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Jo; daughters, Nicole and husband Travis, and Anne Marie; and sons, Tom and wife Andrea, and David and wife Pam. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Cody, Kinsey, Dominic, Chace, Kaden, Jettie, Johnathan, Ashton and Dean. He also leaves behind his sister, Bonnie and sister-in-law, Sharon.

The family will receive friends 4:30pm – 7:30pm on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Tommy’s Life will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, February 25, 2019. Immediately following will be a Committal Service; then a Reception from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
