Thomas Zajac, 92, of Friendswood passed away October 29, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1932 to Joseph and Catherine Zajac. He was married to Patsy Ann for 65 years. Tom had a career as a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways for 40 years.
He was a member of VFW and Veterans of Underaged Military (VUM). Tom had a passion for watching sports, especially the Steelers, movies, traveling, spending time with family, and sweets! He joined the Army in 1948 and served in combat in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Joseph, Dottie, and Sonny; wife Patsy Ann; and children Thomas, Jr., Michelle, and Randy.
Tom is survived by son Christopher Zajac (Ann); daughter-in-law Wendy Zajac; grandchildren Jessica Feran (Matt), Emily Munson (Cale), Tony Zajac (Dawna), Thomas Zajac III, Shea Zajac (Giuliana), and Caitlin Zajac; great-grandchildren Caden Zajac and Ava Feran, Annika and Lyra Munson, Skyler, Brooklynn, and Issac Zajac, Tommy Zajac IV, Gianna Zajac, and Colton Zajac; special niece Barbara Brown, along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 11:00 am with a committal to follow at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas at 2:00 pm.
