Our #1 Dad, Teddy "Ted" Ebarb, 89, of Georgetown, TX, passed away peacefully, at his home with his family by his side, on December 11, 2023. He was born on October 27, 1934, in Abbeville, LA. Ted was a kind, caring, and considerate person who will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Rose Ebarb, whom he fell in love with at the age of 15, his daughters Cheryl Tolleson and Brenda Green, son in law Tom Tolleson, grandson Clay Green, and great-grandson, Mason Green.
Ted lived in Pasadena, Texas for 56 years. He attended High School in Rosenberg, TX, and achieved an Eagle Scout rank. In 1951 Ted attended and acted as a reporter for the International Boy Scout Jamboree in Austria, where he shook hands with the Pope. Ted later graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Texas, and had a successful career as a Corporate Accountant for Marathon Oil Company. He also served in the Air Force Reserves and taught Sunday School.
In his free time, Ted enjoyed fishing, boating and being at the beach with his family. After retirement, Ted & Rose traveled the lower 48 states extensively, in their RV, enjoying seeing historic sites and birds.
Ted will be remembered for his kind heart, caring nature, and his unwavering commitment to his family. His memory will forever be cherished.
A funeral service to celebrate Ted's life will be held at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX, on December 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM with a viewing and visitation starting at 9:00 AM. The services will be conducted by Dignity Memorial, located in Webster, TX.
