Shirley Elaine Townsend, 84, of Meadows Place, TX passed away on December 10, 2024. She was born in Galveston, TX on July 31, 1940 to Clinton and Irene Kirkpatrick. She worked as a document manager for KBR and did realtor work for a few years. She had a passion for quilting and was a member of St Martin's Lutheran Church. She also loved watching Hallmark movies!
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Kenneth Eugene Kirkpatrick and Damon Lloyd Gutherie; sister Beverly Charlene Townsend and nephew Michael Wayne Royer.
She is survived by daughters Tamara Townsend, Terry Templeton, Toni Townsend, and Trudy Townsend; grandchildren Joy Linden, Jillian Wojdyla, Jacob Templeton, Emily Hoffman, Brandi Watson, Madeline Roberts, and Katherine Roberts; great-granddaughter Navy Watson and one great-grandson on the way; sisters Joyce Royer and Cheryl Camuso along with 6 nieces and 1 nephew.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 2:30 pm.
