Scott Herbert Templeton Sr.

SCOTT HERBERT TEMPLETON, 96, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Sugar Land, Texas. He was born August 6, 1920 in Little Rock, Arkansas; the son of Rufus Lafayette and Maggie Bell Walker Templeton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Laurice. He is survived by his sons: Scott Templeton, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Rosharon, Texas; Jerry Templeton and his wife Janell of League City, Texas and Barry Templeton of Sugar Land, Texas. He is also survived by seven granddaughters: Stephanie Perez, Christine Wewerka, Kimberly Laughlin, Lianne Templeton, Melissa Templeton, Ashley Goodale, Michelle Shamsi and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was a retired salesman for Chevrolet and a long-time member of South Main Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, and watching various sports.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Cemetery.
