Sara was a member of the Freeway Baptist Church in Houston, Texas for over 30 years. She had a passion for reading and crossword puzzles. She loved to cook for her family and really enjoyed being a grandmother to many grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Renfroe; daughters, Karen Harrington and Melanie Bobo; sons-in-law, Steve Kernodle and William Bobo.
She is survived by daughters, Patti Kernodle, Kristie Chavez and Nancy Renfroe; sons, Eric Chavez and Mike Thompson; grandchildren, Shelly Thompson, Shanna Kernodle, Thomas Harrington, Sara Bobo, Dustin Harringon, Victoria Hedstrom, Joshua Bobo and Jerrod Hedstrom; great-grandchildren, Karah Renfroe, Caleb Chavez, Gabriella Chavez, Tristan Harrington, Jackson Kunze, Emily Harrington, Henry Summers and Rylee Hedstrom.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 pm.
