He was married to Marsha Lucille Amore for 56 years. Ray had a career in aerospace engineering for NASA Johnson Space Center Houston. He also worked as a college professor and had a career in retail sales. He obtained his Bachelor's of Science from Arkansas Tech University and his Master's of Science from the University of Oklahoma.
Ray loved sports and enjoyed playing fantasy football, basketball, and baseball. He also liked collecting space and sports memorabilia, video games, and cactus gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish Ray's memory are his loving wife Marsha, daughter Sheryl Reynolds, son Daniel Reynolds, granddaughter Natalie Reynolds, great-grandson Jayden McCrea, all of Texas. He also leaves behind sister Sherry Thompson, of Alabama brother Pat Reynolds of Kansas, several nieces and nephews, and second in-laws, and Maxine and Cliff Lucas of New York.
A Memorial Celebration of Life for Ray will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 at10:00AM in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
