Roberto Manuel Alvarado Sr., age 86, of Pasadena, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Roberto was born May 27, 1934 in Fresnillo Zacatecas Mexico. A Special Man who had a strong character and was strong willed. He loved his family, music and dancing, but loved God above all else. Roberto was a dreamer who fulfilled his dreams, as a provider and a jokester. To all those who knew him well, "Donde estan mis gueras, 90-60-90."
Roberto is survived by his loving wife married for 64 years, Maria D.J. Carrillo Alvarado; his children, Maria Barrera (Mario Barrera), Maria Elena Guzman (Jose Guzman), Veronica Alvarado, Angelica M. Rodriguez (Lucio Rodriguez), Roberto M. Alvarado, Jr. (Maria de Roble Alvarado), Claudia P. Coronado (Johnny Coronado), Monica Alvarado, and Jorge A. Alvarado; his grandchildren, Sonia Barrera, Linda Barrera, Jessica Barrera, Jose Guzman (Bambas), Yesenia Guzman, Max Alvarado, Marco Antonio Alvarado, Lucio Rodriguez, Jr., Alex Rodriguez, Giovanni Devora, Guiliana Devora, Maria Alvarado, Mayela Alvarado, Alberto (Congo), Natalie, Abigail, Daniella, Georgianna and Gianina. Also surviving are his great grandchildren, Isaac, Samuel, Xavier, Layla, Juanito, Jr., Sebastian and Lucy.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2021 with a rosary service to be held at 5:30PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, February 12, 2021 at San Juan Diego Catholic Church, 3301 Pasadena Boulevard, Pasadena, TX 77503.
