Mike was born in Pasadena, Texas on December 4, 1952 to William ("Billy") and Elvira Page. He graduated from Dickinson High School in Dickinson, Texas in 1971 and was a member of the marching band. Soon after graduation, Mike was drafted into the Army where he served from 1972 through 1974 and earned the rank of Sergeant E5. Upon discharge, he began working at Weingarten's grocery store where he met his wife Cindy whom he married in 1977 and soon began a family. In 1985 Mike went to work at the Dickinson Post Office as a mail carrier, a job he held for 33 years until his retirement in 2018.
Mike loved his kids, grandson, family, and friends. His hobbies included bowling, shooting pool, reading history books, and playing with his grandson.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ronda (Page) Smith, and mother-in-law Marsha Lassiter.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Cynthia to whom he was married for 47 years, his sons Robby Page and Jeffrey Page (Kristen), his beloved grandson "nugget" Aston Page, Father-in-law Carroll Lassiter, sister-in-laws Lori Boydston (Keith) and Melissa Campomanes (Elmer), 4 nieces, 6 nephews, and a bonus son Paul Maurehan (Tara), and many cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 5:00-8:00pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, Texas 77598. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10:00am in the same location. Rev. Wm King officiating.
