Robert Franklin Murdock, Sr., 82, of Lufkin, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018. He was born in Childress, Texas on June 30, 1935 to Arthur and Callie Murdock. He was married to Mildred for 37 years.
Robert was an equipment operator in the plants for most of his life. He had a passion for fishing. He loved it so much that he had a catfish pond in Jasper.
He was preceded in death by wife, Mildred Murdock; parents Arthur and Callie Murdock.
He is survived by Sons, Arthur Murdock and wife Linda, Bobby Murdock; daughter, Teresa Holley and husband Roger; stepson Mark Carter and wife Debbie; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Graveside Service will Immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
