Robert was born on December 4, 1932 in Jacksonville, TX. He has made League City, TX his home for the past 40 years.
Robert is preceded in death by his father Herschel Gibson, mother, Thelma Gibson and his brother, John B. Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gibson, of 57 years and his three children, Neal Gibson JR., Susie (David) Griffin, and Russell (Belayne) Gibson. Robert also leaves to cherish his memory, sister, Kay (Walter) Cannon and his granddaughters, Nicole Eberhart, Stephanye Gibson-Abraham, Staci Roberts and Cori Griffin.
