Phillip Charles Collins, 75, of Houston Texas, passed away on October 26, 2024. He was born in Kilgore, Texas on October 15, 1949 to Theodore and Emma Jean Collins. Phil was a beloved son, brother, husband, step-father, neighbor, and friend whose gentle and easy going nature touched the lives of many.
Phil graduated from John H. Reagan High School in Houston in 1968 and soon proudly joined the Houston Police Department where he worked until his retirement as a Sargent in the airport division.
Phil was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Geraldine, who passed away in 2016. Their 25 years spent together was filled with unforgettable memories they made travelling in their RV, visiting casinos, and vacationing on many cruises. They doted on their two adored Pomeranians, Barney and Pepper.
Phil was a welcomed addition to many social activities including family holidays, sporting event gatherings, and the many pool parties and cook-outs over the years. He enjoyed everyone's companionship and especially their good cooking.
His presence will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
