Pedro Pete Salazar Rodriguez

Pete Rodriguez, of League City, Texas, departed on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He was born in Stratton, Texas on April 10, 1946 to Clifford Rodriguez and Margaret Salazar. He was married to Dominga Rodriguez, “Lynda”, for 27 years.

Pete had a career in plant engineering for St. John Hospital and Rice University.

He had a passion for fishing, hunting, bowling, and sporting events.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Margaret “Maggie” Rodriguez.

He is survived by his wife, D. Lynda Rodriguez; daughters Janina Allum and husband Eric and Lisette Kearns and husband Chris; four granddaughters, Lianna and Ellenor Kearns, Marissa and Mila Allum; three brothers, Frosty, Joe and Albert Rodriguez; three sisters, Chelo Hernandez, Amelia Dominguez and Estella Dominguez; numerous nieces, nephews; and beloved cousins, Alice Nunez, Rose Mata, Paula Ramirez, Josie Garcia and Tony Salazar.

He was extremely blessed to have such a wonderful large family.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 09:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real, Houston, Texas 77062. Committal to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
