Mitchell Dean Frisby married Dorothy Jean Atkins June 4, 1951. Mitchell served in the Army from 1952 - 1954 and was in the Korean War. Mitchell also served six years in the Army Reserves. Mitchell did electrical and control work for many years before he decided to do what God had called him to do. He was a licensed and ordained minister for the Assemblies of God. He had a heart of love and compassion. He walked on the inner streets of Houston for many years, witnessing, praying and winning souls for Christ. Mitch made multiple trips to Mexico in helping to build churches and spread the word of God. Mitch was not only a husband, dad, grandfather and great grandfather to his family but was also known as “Pops” to many others. Mitchell and Dorothy’s home has always been an open door to any and all who were in need of prayer and counseling.
