Michael was born June 24, 1979, in Bradenton, Florida to George Edward and Carla DeElaine Ondrovich. On June 6, 1999, he married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Amanda Ondrovich, in Florida. Soon after marriage Michael and Amanda relocated to Pasadena, Texas to be closer to Darrell and Pamela Willis, who were like a second set of parents, and where they would begin adding to their family. On May 16, 2001, he welcomed his daughter Montanna Elizabeth followed by son Ty Garett, on September 17, 2010, who were the most important part of his life. Michael became a local Heat Treater for several years at various companies, before moving on to become a Heat-Treating Sales Account Manager.
Michael was a wonderfully devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He loved getting to walk his daughter Montanna across the football field for homecoming court and watching her receive her high school diploma. Michael also loved getting to coach and watch his son Ty’s baseball team throughout the years.
Michael lived life to the fullest and he loved to travel. Many vacations were spent on various cruises across the Caribbean and Mexico with friends and family. If you couldn’t immediately find him, you knew to just go to the casino and you would find him enjoying one of his favorite games. Michael had many hobbies, most of which were outdoors, such as fishing, boating, and mudding in side by sides, but his most beloved hobby was RC Drag Racing.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother Carla DeElaine Ondrovich, father George Edward Ondrovich, brother Jacob Ondrovich, grandmother Bonnie Jean Anderson, grandfathers Eddie Dorman and Milton “Papa Mike” Anderson, aunt Sharon Dorman, aunt Patricia Carnahan, and aunt Vanessa Brown.
Michael’s life will forever be cherished by the loves of his life, bride of 23 years Amanda Ondrovich, daughter Montanna Ondrovich and son Ty Ondrovich; sister Leslie Ondrovich; mother-in-Law Linda Cook; aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers.
A visitation for Michael will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with a committal to follow. All services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas.
