Mary was born November 23, 1946 at St. Joseph’s hospital in Houston, TX. She grew up in Galena Park, TX where she attended and graduated from Galena Park High School in 1965. She later moved to Deer Park, TX where she raised her four children Stacey, Christi, Julie, and William. During those years she owned a child-care facility where she took care of many children who still love her and call her “Mrs. Mary”. Later she enjoyed many years at Hamilton Metals where she was considered the “Mom” of the office, until she retired to spend more time with family.
Mary had a servant’s heart who always put everyone else’s needs before her own, including taking care of her elderly mother who came to live with her in 2019. Many consider her an Angel.
She loved to shop and spent endless hours at the beach enjoying a beautiful sunny day. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 31 years Jerry Jennings, her beautiful 97-year-old mother Burna Dean Graham, her four children Stacey Armstrong and husband Kevin, Christi Bradshaw and husband Randall, Julie Upton and husband Michael, and William Spence and wife Lisa and stepchildren Rhonda Darrow and husband Lee and Chris Jennings and wife Genie. As well as her brother Geren Graham and wife Judy, sister-in-laws Peggy Graham and Pam Graham, 23 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nephew and nieces that she loved as her own.
She was preceded in death by her father A C Graham, Jr. “Poppy”, and two brothers Frank Graham and John Graham.
Mary supported and enjoyed the women’s ministry Celebration. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at www.celebrationministries.org in Mary’s honor.
A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held Monday, April 5 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church Pasadena located at 7500 Fairmont Parkway Pasadena, Texas.
