Mark Andrew Creasy was born on November 6, 1985 and left this earth on April 1, 2017 as a result of a hiking fall in Austin. Mark leaves behind his best friend and soul mate Jessica Galfas, his loving parents, Bill and Susan Creasy, his loyal brother, John Creasy, proud sisters and brothers-in-law, Ginny and Leo Poche' and Cathy and Duane Wilson and his adoring grandmother, Julia Lamb. He leaves behind 3 adoring nieces and 2 admiring nephews, caring aunts, uncles and cousins. Mark graduated from Texas A&M in 2008 and from University of Houston Law School in 2011. Mark was a software developer for Mattersight in Austin. Mark was a young man full of wisdom and purpose. He lived life to its fullest and he loved wholly, he was all-in, with the most faithful and thoughtful love! He was certified in yoga and was a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He loved the paleo lifestyle and being in nature. He walked barefoot through life so that there was nothing between him and the Earth--that calmed him and connected him to all things. He lived the practice of mindfulness, presence, and gratitude. He taught us to value connection and conversation. He touched the lives of many with his love and kindness. The world is a better place because Mark was a part of it! He will be missed desperately and remembered lovingly. Memorial donations can be made in his name to Central Area Food Bank, 6500 Metropolis Drive, Austin, TX 78744, a charity that Mark loved and supported. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
