Maria Aurora Gomez, 62, of Houston, Texas, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017. She was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on February 26, 1955 to Jose Cuellar Gomez and Nylia Aurora Gomez.
Maria was a full time resident for 30 years at Develo-cepts. She had a passion for loving everyone.
She was preceded in death by her father Jose C. Gomez.
She is survived by her mother Nylia Aurora Gomez; 3 sisters Maria Lucy Gomez, Gloria Ramos and Dolores Gomez De La Cruz; 3 brothers Jose Gomez, Jr., Reynaldo Gomez and Juan Jose Gomez; extended family in Brownsville, Texas and Tampico, Mexico.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home with interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
