Lynda Margaret Lemmon

Lynda Margaret Lemmon, born on June 7, 1948 in San Bernardino California, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023 in Houston Texas surrounded by loved ones. Lynda was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her daughter Melissa A. Scott. She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Lindley, sons Tony Kennedy, and Eric Moody, grandchildren Caleb Scott, Elizabeth Scott, Kyle Moody, Khloe Meehan, Trevor Kennedy and Angelo Kennedy, five beautiful great grandchildren and her extended family in Texas and California.

She was an absolutely beautiful and vivacious woman.

She was independent and outgoing, always living life to the fullest, even traveling to different parts of the world. But most of all she was a very loving and giving mom, sister, grandma and friend.

She was a classy fashionista who always turned heads and made friends wherever she went.

Although battling sickness off and on throughout her life, she loved hard, worked hard, and gave the absolute most without hesitation to absolutely everyone.

She will be missed dearly but we know she is in a better place, No more pain, no more sorrow. Only peace and a joyous reunion with her beautiful daughter Melissa A. Scott.

A memorial gathering for Lynda will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Following the memorial gathering will be a memorial service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
