Louise Evelyn Kettle, 93, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2010. She was born on March 25, 1917, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Merle and Bessie Mae Albin. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl. She is survived by five sons John and wife Antoinette of Manvel, Texas, Robert and wife Glenda of Pearland, Texas, Tommy and wife Kathy of Pearland, Texas, Timmy of Santa Monica, CA and Toby and wife Mary of Houston, TX, thirteen grandchildren along with their spouses Juanita and Ronnie Ruffeno, John Earl and Terri Kettle, Yolanda and Pete Soloiz, Robin Kettle, Kim Kettle, David and Sandy Smith, Kelly and Greg Adams, Amy and Brian Knight, Tommy Kettle, Candy Kettle, Toby and Amy Kettle, Tara and Cameron Bryce and Anoria Campise and 28 great grandchildren Gabrielle, Danielle, Nathaniel, Jacqueline, Nicholas, and Elizabeth Ruffeno Chelsea, Sheyanne, Travis, and Brenna Kettle. Joseph, Gianna, Miguel, Marcos, David, and Sophia Soliz. Dawson and Shelby Smith. Tylee and Gregory Adams. Abigail and Cody Knight. Kelly Kettle. Samantha and Grayson Bryce, Brennan, Colton, and Tyson Kettle.
Louise was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Merle and Bessie Albin. She spent most of her life in Houston, TX. She graduated from Reagan High School and then attended Massey Business College and received her real estate license. She met and married Earl Kettle and together the two of them built a lumber business. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved to work in her flower beds and she also loved raising and watching her goldfish. She was a member of Garden Villas Methodist Church but later in life she converted to Catholosism and became a member of St. Helens Catholic Church. She practiced yoga for over 40 years. This along with her love of family and life kept her going for so many years. She will be deeply missed. Good bye, Mom. We love you.
Visitation will begin on Friday, January 7, 2011, at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a Vigil Service and Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. that evening. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at Forest Park East Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
