Linda D. Thacker passed away at home February 11, 2013. She was born February 5, 1945 in Houston, Texas to the late Lawrence Joseph Armstrong Jr. and Dora Frances Bruner Armstrong. Linda was the author of “A Radical Look at Changing America” published in 1994. She was an avid gardener. Spending time with her family and friends were the most important things in her life.
Linda will be greatly missed by two daughters, Lisa Edwards and Laurie Blakeway; two brothers, Jay and Tom Armstrong; sister, Sunny Henley; six grandsons, Corbin Collins, Jacob and Joshua Gant, Jason, Jordan and Jeremy Shipp; a great grandson, Liam Shipp and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
