Kimberly Marie Garcia

Kimberly Marie Garcia, 55, of Santa Fe, Texas passed away peacefully in her home January 5, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She fought a brave battle against lung cancer this past year and was determined to make the most out of life.

Born August 24, 1966 in Houston, Texas, Kimberly was the Daughter of Woodrow Watson and Yvonne Johnson. She had 6 siblings whom she loved visiting in Louisiana. While attending Santa Fe High school, she fell in love with Carlos Garcia Jr., who she would later marry May 12, 1993. Kim pursued a career in the automotive industry for over 30 years where she successfully

earned her title as a business office manger. Throughout her career, she not only gained colleagues, but life-long friendships that she cherished. When she was not working, you would find her on the back of a motorcycle or on the deck of her yacht. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Sierra Victoria, and grand-daughter, Yvella Carlise; they were her world.

Kim was the life of the party who had a contagious laugh. She had a vibrant personality to go with her tan skin, flashy red nails and heels. Her caring soul, welcomed all. She was a bonus-mom to her favorite few but the title she was most proud of was " Gammaw". Her shared love of travel with her grand-daughter led them on many adventures together. Kim was extraordinary and left a lasting impression on those around her. From nights out on the town to back porch conversations, the memory of her will infinitely carry on.

Preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne Johnson and grand-mother, Madelyn Johnson.

Survived by husband: Carlos Garcia Jr., daughter: Sierra Garcia, grand-daughter: Yvella Herrera, father: Woodrow Watson, siblings: Woody Watson, Wayne Watson, Michele Myers, Michael Bellot, James Bellot, and Debora Bellot- Boudreaux.

A celebration of life for Kimberly will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
