Kevin Ray Bratcher, born March 12, 1960 in Houston, TX, peacefully ended his battle with cancer on December 26, 2011. Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Letitia “Tish” Timmons Bratcher; sons Kirk, and Karl and wife, Lilly and grandsons Karl, Jr. and Kingston, all of Deer Park, TX; step-sons, Stephen Bryant of Seabrook, TX and Jon Bryant of Deer Park, TX; brothers, Rick of Deer Park, TX and Albert and wife, Heather, of Cut and Shoot, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin graduated from South Houston High School in 1978. He was employed as an EMD locomotive engine mechanic in the maritime industry in and around Galveston Bay for over 31 years, most recently by G & H Towing Company of Galveston, TX.
Kevin loved his family, his Harley, the Texans and any sandy beach. Kevin and Tish loved to travel and enjoyed the fellowship of their many Biker Friends, the Blues Bar & Grill Darts Team, and the Light Tower Committee – Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo. In October, they took a “Road Trip” touring the American Southwest from Houston, through Phoenix up to the Grand Canyon, on to Los Angeles, up the Pacific Coast Highway to San Francisco, then a circle through Las Vegas and on to visit the Timmons family in Arkansas before returning home to Santa Fe. Kevin enjoyed Christmas Day surrounded by the love of his Bratcher Family and with the extended Housewright Family.

Services and interment will be at Forest Park East, Webster, TX (www.forestparkeast-fhc.com) at 12:30PM Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 7:00PM January 2, 2012 at Forest Park.
