Joyce "Honey" Word

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband of 23 years, John David Word; and three sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Melody Moss and Michele Love and husband Cliff Love; grandchildren, Nathan, Sabrina, Melissa, Keith, Kevin and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Christian, Ella, Andrew, Trent, Caine, Cade and Morgan; four nieces, a nephew, and many loving family members and friends.

Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, that will be missed by all that knew her, especially her family. She and her husband were the Owners of Word Cycle & Marine for over 22 years.

Visitation will begin on Monday, June 28, 2010, at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted at Forest Park East Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
