Johnny Solis, 73, of League City, passed away August 22, 2022. He was born in Galveston, TX on February 6,1949 to Emiliano and Henrietta Solis. He was married to his wife, Dolores Solis for 53 years. Johnny worked in the oil field as a process control specialist for Gulf, Amoco, BP, and Marathon. He had a passion for gardening, fishing, playing guitar, travel, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and older sister Esther Garcia.
He is survived by his wife; Dolores Solis, his children; Virginia Tedesco, Michael Solis, Christina Solis, Robert Solis, Emily Solis, his grandchildren, and his best friend and dog, Lola.
Johnny was a Vietnam veteran of the US Navy, a beloved Texas and American Patriot. He was a devout Catholic to Saint Mary's in League City, Texas.
