Jewell “Buck” Bishop, 75 of Friendswood, Texas passed away on April 27th, 2018 at South East Memorial Hospital. A short visitation will be held right before services on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 at 2:00 PM with interment to follow.
Buck was born in Wichita, Texas to Jewell and Dorothy Bishop on August 15, 1942. He went to school in Galena Park, Texas. He was first married to Karen R. Smith on December 7th, 1961 in Houston, Texas. Karen passed away on January 2nd, 1987. Buck remarried a dear family friend, Patricia A. Kuenstle on May 1st 1987.
He attended Abilene Christian University and worked as a Produce Broker for his company Buck Distributing for most of his life.
Buck is preceded in death by mother; Dorothy Bishop, father; Jewel M. Bishop, Brother; Ronnie Bishop, first wife; Karen R. Bishop and second wife; Patricia A. Bishop. Buck is survived by daughter; Shawn L. Bishop, sister; Sandy Reuter, grandchildren; William Taylor Glines, Kayla R. Ralph and Nicole L. Gillum. Great Grandchildren; Robert Lee Ralph, Sadie Morgan Ralph and Addison Nicole Gillum, nephew; Jason Bishop and many other family members.
A visitation for "Buck" will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 2:30 PM. An interment will occur Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Forest Park East Cemetery.
