Jeanette Grice

Jeanette Meyer Grice, 77, of Nassau Bay (Houston), Texas passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Friendswood, Texas. She was born December 4, 1937 in Houston, Texas and was the daughter of Gustav and Lilian Meyer. Jeanette graduated from Webster High School (Clear Creek ISD) and attended The University of Texas and graduated from The University of Miami in Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

After her graduation, she married Franklin Delano Reinhart and together they had a daughter, Donna Janice Reinhart, Jeanette and Donna soon moved to Seabrook, Texas. Jeanette taught 5th grade in the Houston School District and then began a teaching career in Clear Creek ISD for 30 years until retiring in 1996. She was an excellent teacher and was loved by her students, parents, and teachers.

She leaves to cherish her memories her two sisters Joan Meyer Archer and Eleanor Meyer Scott both of Seabrook; daughter Donna Janice Reinhart; three grandsons John Gustav Goode and wife Mandi, Andrew Joseph Goode and fiancé Lindsay, and Matthew Gillentine; two great-grandsons John Robert Goode and Andrew Joseph Goode. Numerous nieces and nephews include Elizabeth George of Llano, Martin Archer of California, Wesley Archer of California, Eleanor Archer Peck and husband Lane Peck of California, Stephen Scott and wife Debbie of League City, and Stuart Scott and wife Barbie of Houston.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas.
