James Theodore Gunderson

born in Georgetown, South Carolina on March 25, 1940 to Oscar Gunderson and Mae Hill Gunderson. He was their second child. He was married to Carolyne Peevey for 42 years.

Mr. Gunderson entered the Navy in 1958 and served in the Navy for four year. After leaving the Navy he

obtained a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration on May 29, 1966 from the University of Alabama. He received a Master of History from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2002.

He had a passion for hunting with bow and arrow as well as firearms, fishing, and sailing on his 30 foot

sailboat. He was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Also, he was a member of the Republican Party and PSC Gun Club. He had career in data processing for Bank of the Southwest in Houston, Texas, Enron in Houston, Texas and other firms in Houston.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother, Sigurd F. Gunderson. He is survived by his

wife Carolyne, step daughter Judy Falcone Miller her children EJ and Jessica Attaway. His great grandchildren Seth Bower, Dante Bower, Case MaGeehee, and Skylyne MaGeehee. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Gunderson family.
